Activity 1: Count Around the Room

Look around the room! Can you find:

  • 1 door?
  • 2 windows?
  • 3 chairs?
  • 4 books?
  • 5 toys?

Point to each thing as you count!

Activity 2: Snack Counting

At snack time, practice counting!

  • Count how many crackers you have.
  • Count how many grapes are on your plate.
  • Count your carrot sticks before you eat them!

Activity 3: Finger Fun

Practice with a grown-up:

  1. Hold up 1 finger. Say "One!"
  2. Hold up 2 fingers. Say "Two!"
  3. Keep going up to 5!
  4. Now count backwards: 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!
