How to Read a Sentence
Sentences Tell Us Things!
When we read a sentence, we find out something new. Every sentence has a beginning, a middle, and an end.
Find the Capital
Look for the big letter at the start
Read the Words
Sound out each word slowly
Find the Period
Stop when you see the dot
Understand
Think about what the sentence means

I can run fast.
This sentence tells us what someone can do. What can they do? Run fast!
The bird can fly.
