Types of Picture Questions

Pictures can ask us questions in many different ways! Learning to recognize these question types helps us become better thinkers.

Four Types of Picture Questions

1. "What's Different?" Questions

Look at pictures and find what changed or what doesn't belong.

Example: ๐ŸŽ ๐ŸŽ ๐ŸŠ ๐ŸŽ - Which one is different?

2. "What Comes Next?" Questions

Find the pattern and guess what picture should come next.

Example: ๐Ÿ”ด ๐Ÿ”ต ๐Ÿ”ด ๐Ÿ”ต ๐Ÿ”ด โ“ - What comes next?

3. "Match It!" Questions

Find pictures that go together or are the same.

Example: Which picture matches? ๐Ÿฑ goes with... ๐Ÿ• ๐Ÿˆ ๐Ÿฆ

4. "Tell the Story" Questions

Put pictures in order or explain what is happening.

Example: ๐Ÿฅš ๐Ÿฃ ๐Ÿฅ - What story do these pictures tell?
