Before You Start

To get the most out of this unit, you should:

  • Have a notebook or digital document ready for your error log
  • Be comfortable with basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Understand fractions, decimals, and percentages at a Grade 6 level
  • Have completed some practice problems recently (you will use these to start your log)
  • Be willing to look honestly at your mistakes—this is how we improve!

Time commitment: Each lesson takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Plan to complete one lesson per session and practice error logging between lessons.
