Timed Drill

📖 Learn

In this lesson, you will practice answering vocabulary questions quickly. On real tests like the SAT and ACT, you have a time limit. Practicing with a timer helps you get faster!

Why Practice with a Timer?

  • Build Speed: The more you practice, the faster you get.
  • Stay Calm: When you practice with time, tests feel less scary.
  • Trust Yourself: You learn to pick answers without second-guessing.

Goal: Try to answer each question in about 20-30 seconds. That is enough time to read and think!

How to Use a Timer

  1. Ask a grown-up to help you set a timer (or use a clock)
  2. Try to finish all 12 questions in 6 minutes
  3. Do not worry if you run out of time - keep practicing!
